The House

A house for independent ventures.

House of Heroia is being developed as the overarching brand for a collection of independent ventures. It gives them a common name and a long-term frame, while each keeps its own identity, purpose and direction.

Purpose

The House exists to give independent ventures a common home.

It offers a shared name, a shared identity and a shared standard to work towards. It is not intended to make its ventures alike: each is free to pursue its own purpose in its own way. What they have in common is a commitment to doing things carefully, and to building for the long term.

II

Independence and responsibility

Every venture associated with the House remains distinct. It has its own name, its own identity and its own direction, and it is responsible for its own work.

The House does not speak for its ventures, and its ventures do not speak for one another. Independence is not an absence of standards; it is a responsibility to keep them.

III

A long view

The House is built around patience. Its ventures are developed thoughtfully, at a pace that allows them to be done well, and with a horizon measured in years rather than seasons.

Some of its ventures are in development; others are still being planned. Each is presented for exactly what it is.

IV

What the House is, and is not

House of Heroia is a brand in development. It is not a bank, an investment firm or a regulated financial institution, and it does not offer financial services or manage funds.

The ventures and partners shown on this site are associated with the House under a common brand. This does not describe their legal structure or ownership.

The philosophy of the House

Not for the season, but for the generations. We build with patience, act with independence, and measure our work by what endures.
